Platform-based legislative scorecards
Measure every vote against the platform you actually wrote.
Plankwise helps any organization — a state party, a caucus, an advocacy group — grade floor-voted bills against its own published platform, then publish scorecards that anyone can check, plank by plank.
- Stable plank IDs
- Blind double grading
- Open CSV exports

From platform to published scorecard
Load your platform
Each plank receives a permanent ID and an Article.Section label, so citations stay valid across edits and years.
Grade bills blind
Two graders independently decide whether a Yes or No vote aligns with the platform — neither sees the other's call until they submit.
Resolve disagreements
When graders disagree or flag a bill, an advisor reviews both assessments and records the final call.
Publish and export
Final floor votes are scored per legislator and published as an immutable snapshot with a CSV download.
Nonpartisan by design
Your platform. Your standard. Our math is the same for everyone.
Any party, any platform
Plankwise takes no position. Organizations score legislators against the commitments they themselves published.
Transparent method
Grade = votes that agree with the platform ÷ yea/nay votes cast. Other recorded votes count as missed, never invented.
Integrity built in
Submitted grades are immutable, grader roles are locked once they grade, and published scorecards are snapshots.
Public legislative data
Bills, roll calls, and votes come from LegiScan's public data, credited on every page.
